Swim School

A new swim school is making waves in Peoria. The Valley’s newest Aqua-Tots Swim School, located on the southeast corner of Deer Valley Road and 78th Avenue, opens in April.

Designed to be more family-friendly and less-institutional than traditional schools, the facility offers:

  • a 35 x 48 x 4 foot indoor pool;
  • a salt system to lessen irritated eyes and skin;
  • a water temperature of 90 degrees and air temperature of 92 degrees;
  • an inviting viewing area;
  • locker rooms;
  • a play area.

"Our goal is to capture a unique warmth and fun environment where our customers feel valued and the ordinary becomes the extraordinary," says Jamie Jochimsen, co-owner.

Aqua-Tots has a 17-year presence in Arizona, with locations throughout the Valley. As the first franchise, the West Valley location will also offer lessons at three satellite locations, lifeguard rental services, and special events such as in-home pool parties.
