A former policeman for the City of Mesa, Mike transferred into the retail industry of loss prevention for the following companies: Kohls, The Limited, Target, Gottschalks and Mervyns. After climbing the corporate ladder to the title of V.P. and regional director of Loss Prevention, Mike decided to go into business for himself. Merchandise Wholesalers Inc. was born specializing in wholesaling office furniture, electronics, mattresses and department store merchandise. Donnie Rae / Partner

Donnie, retired now from professional hockey, has settled down in Phoenix to team up with Mattress Depot. Donnie aka the "bulldog" played for the Phoenix Roadrunners and toured all over Europe for 5 years playing professionally. Donnie now enjoys coaching the little guys as well as his 3 sons. Donnie brings a whole new excitement to Mattress Depot with his energetic and quick-witted ability to run the day-to-day operations.

Andy Manahl / Partner

Andy originally moved from Iowa to the Valley of the Sun to play professional golf and teach at the Phoenician Resort. Andy has a son, Connor, with his wife Stephanie. When he has free time he loves to spend it on his bass boat catching largemouth bass and telling fishing lies to all his buddies. Andy has been with Merchandise Wholesalers since 2002 and has partnered up with Mike to open Phoenix's largest liquidation mattress co.
